MEP Project Engineer

PECO is hiring an MEP Project Engineer to run mechanical, electrical, and plumbing execution on assigned sites in Dubai. You will work under a PECO project manager across residential towers, hotel buildings, and industrial facilities, and act as the engineering point of contact for the main contractor's site team.
The day-to-day covers shop drawings, material submittals to the consultant, coordination of MEP clearances with civil and finishing trades, and progress reporting against the baseline programme. You will carry systems through testing and commissioning to authority approvals and handover.
PECO has delivered 111 projects across the UAE since 2007 with an engineering-led site culture. You will work alongside mechanical and electrical engineers who run their packages end to end.
Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installation across assigned sites.
- Review shop drawings and material submittals before issue to the consultant.
- Coordinate MEP clearances with the main contractor's civil and finishing teams.
- Track progress against the baseline programme and report variances to the project manager.
- Lead testing and commissioning of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems through to handover.
Requirements
- Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- 3 to 6 years of MEP site experience in the UAE, ideally on residential towers or hotels.
- Working knowledge of DEWA, Dubai Civil Defence, and Dubai Municipality approval processes.
- Able to read and mark up coordinated MEP drawings in AutoCAD.
- Fluent written and spoken English. UAE driving licence preferred.
